Within this site you will find musings on and re-tellings of ancient myths. Some will be familiar while others will hopefully be new and intriguing to the reader. There is no deliberate attempt to sanitise or co-opt narratives and no agenda other than to entertain.

There are many other resources on the internet, such as theoi.com, that are excellent and draw upon a broad body of literature and art. Sometimes you find that accounts vary between sources and impossible timelines are implied, so we like to select variants that feel the most exciting, visceral and relatable. We also weave in a little artistic license here and there, as well as some of our own artwork. Thus we aim to provide not just knowledge but also inspiration and delight!
